A Brief History of Pauluhn™

According to an online source, the Pauluhn™ Electric Manufacturing Company was established about 1939 in New York City by Carl Pauluhn, a German immigrant, and Sal Russo, an Italian immigrant. Since Carl Pauluhn was known the marine electrical and lighting industry, they used his name for the company. The Russo family bought out Carl Pauluhn in the 50′s. They moved the company to Pearland TX in 1969. The family sold the company in 2001 to Federal Signal, thus beginning a string of acquisitions by larger and larger companies. Throughout all the buyouts, the Pauluhn™ name has consistently been recognized around the world as a premier manufacturer of innovative solutions for specialized marine, offshore and onshore drilling, mining, petrochemical and industrial lighting and connecting products.
