EasyHeat – AHB Electric Constant Watt Pre-Terminated Pipe Heating Cable

Rigid Plastic & Metal Pipe Freeze Protection

EASYHEAT, the leader in residential pipe freeze protection, presents the AHB Series pipe heating system. Pre-assembled and ready to install, the cable prevents pipes from freezing, keeping water flowing to -40°. With its energy saving thermostat, AHB cables operate on 120 Volts AC and are suitable for use on plastic and metal water pipes. EASYHEAT® AHB pipe heating cable (pipe trace) stops ice before it starts. This traditional resistance cable produces a fixed amount of heat based on the electrical line feed. It comes with a built-in thermostat that switches the electricity on and off, based on the temperature. This ready-to-install system comes in one compact package complete with grounded plug, thermostat and easy-to-follow instructions. Construction of the AHB system includes braided metal jacket for ground, black outer jacket, thermostat, 2 foot orange 18/3 supply cord with grounded plug and integral power indicator light.

This system can be installed with confidence that it will operate for years without requiring service. All components are made of the highest quality material and are tested during critical points in the manufacturing process.

The AHB Series system is easy to buy and to install, engineered in 3 foot increments to accommodate many pipe lengths with diameters up to 1.5 “. Simply run the cable straight along the pipe and valves according to the included instructions, affix with our premium application tape and insulation, then plug into a standard electrical outlet.
